Fine Carding Cloth Upgrade

Originally, Patrick Green utilized coarse carding cloth on the Cottage Carder and select models. Through continued development and testing, we have engineered an advanced fine carding cloth designed to significantly improve performance when working with finer fibers.

This fine cloth provides greater control when handling delicate and fine fiber and wool types, producing smoother, more uniform roving and consistently even batts. While optimized for fine fibers, it remains fully capable of processing coarser fibers as well.

For standard coarse wool, traditional coarse cloth performs well; however, this fine carding cloth offers enhanced versatility, superior fiber alignment, and an improved overall finish across a wider range of fiber types.
